Foreign National Committee
What do we do?
The Foreign National Committee (FNC) creates programming to enhance resources available to foreign national postdocs. Our recent initiatives include a transition to green card workshop, a financial wellness seminar for international scholars, and a buddy program to help link postdocs with others coming from their home countries. We regularly host holiday socials, game nights and potlucks. We also work to advocate for university policy changes and resources to support foreign national postdocs in collaboration with International Student and Scholar Services.
How can you get involved?
We are always looking for help! If you are enthusiastic about fostering community amongst foreign national postdocs or if you have ideas for potential initiatives or events, we would love to hear from you! Please feel free to email our Committee Co-Chairs with ideas and suggestions.
